Evidence Of Absence
"Evidence of Absence" is a body of work from Eric Mangen (Painter) & myself.
Over the course of one year Eric took his art into a hidden, forsaken industrial complex where he was free to paint, experiment and create.
The environment itself - deserted by mankind and rightfully taken back by nature - became the force driving the art. Inaccessible to the public, these installations were to be destroyed and forgotten forever as the structure is soon to be brought down.
"Evidence of Absence" witnessed the time we stopped for a brief moment, in order to now show you the second life granted to these factory buildings before they cease to exist.
